A five-year-old girl remains in critical condition in Temple Street Hospital after she was stabbed in Dublin on November 23rd.

The young girl, who has not yet been named, is being treated in the Dublin hospital, but remains ‘gravely ill’, The Independent reports.

Two other children were injured in the attack, but they have since been released from CHI Crumlin.

Creche worker, Leanne Flynn, who was also attacked in the stabbing is in a serious condition in hospital.

A GoFundMe has been set up to support Leanne and the three children following the horrific attack.

Over €250,000 has been raised so far with thousands of people sending loving messages to the victims.

The fundraiser was set up by a worker at the Gaelscoil in Dublin.

They said their community is completely shaken following the horrendous incident.

“This is a small Gaelscoil (all-Irish school) in the heart of Dublin City Centre and is almost like a small family this attack has shocked parents, students, and the whole school staff to their core and your help and support would be greatly appreciated at this time.”

Leanne’s co-worker praised her for risking her own life to protect the children.

She confirmed that Leanne put herself in front of the children so they could run to safety.

She has been described as “nothing short of a superhero” following the Dublin stabbing.

“We will be forever grateful for her and wish her a speedy recovery from her injuries,” they shared.

It is understood that Leanne suffered “significant injuries” and she will be out of work for the foreseeable future.

Funds raised will go directly to the children’s families, as well as to Leanne.

We’re keeping all of them in our thoughts during this harrowing time. You can donate here.
