Our fave celeb mum has revealed her skincare routine on her Snapchat account yesterday and it is predictably KRAZY.
The four seriously high end beauty products by Creme de la Mer have a combined cost of over $1200.
The “miracle” serums, unguents and balms were perfected by an aerospace physicist who presumably had a pretty in-depth knowledge of gravity and its effects.
The Creme de la Mer manifesto reads:
“Half a century ago, aerospace physicist Dr. Max Huber suffered burns in a laboratory accident. Neither medicine nor science offered the benefits Huber sought, so he began a personal quest to transform the look of his skin. After twelve years and 6,000 experiments, he perfected the precious, nutrient-rich Miracle Broth,™ the heart of Crème de la Mer’s profound powers of transformation.”
Here’s the shopping list for anyone with a spare grand (ya know, that pesky grand that was stretching out your wallet):
The Perfecting Treatment (€180 for 50ml)
The Concentrate (€352.75 for 50ml)
The Renewal Oil (€152 for 30ml)
Crème de la Mer (€385 for 100ml)
TOTAL: €1069.75
For slightly more down to earth skincare, we asked Maven46’s Sarah Jane Lanagan for her top four skincare tips:
“Congestion, dullness and dehydration are all conditions our skin will suffer with from time to time, especially during the winter months. Clean eating, plenty of water and lots of sleep are the cornerstone of a clear complexion but if you’re in need of a little added help, fear not because there are a few ways to fast track your skin care regime, starting with a good glycolic treatment like Dr Schultz’s 10% Exfoliating Pads. Glycolic acid will work to remove the upper most layer of dead, dull skin that insists on hanging around in the winter months to reveal the more youthful, fresher skin underneath.”
