The cold spell isn’t over yet.
Met Éireann has issued another status yellow, snow-ice warning for the entire country which comes into effect tomorrow at 9 pm.
The warning was issued today at 1 pm but doesn’t come into effect until tomorrow night, giving us some time to prepare for more snow.
This latest update from the national forecaster includes the entire country with scattered snow showers predicted, most likely in the west and north.
You can expect accumulations of less than 3cm and these conditions will mean that roads and paths could become slippery due to ice on untreated services.
As mentioned, the warning comes into effect tomorrow evening (8 February) at 9 pm and will continue until Friday evening at 9 pm.
