The incident that happened at Cincinnati Zoo has dominated the headlines this week.
Harambe, a 17-year-old gorilla, was shot dead after a three-year-old boy fell into the zoo enclosure.
This subsequently sparked controversy with many condemning the extreme measures taken by zookeepers.
The child’s parents, Michelle Gregg and Deonne Dickerson, have also come in for criticism – to such an extent that the authorities have offered them extra police protection.
Now, the audio of mum Michelle’s 911 call has been obtained by CBS Evening News and posted online.
