Further developments in Brad and Angelina’s divorce have come to light.
Brad Pitt is under investigation for child abuse, according to TMZ, the celebrity news site that first reported the high profile couple’s divorce earlier this week.
Reports reveal that the A-lister is under investigation by the LAPD and L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services for “allegedly getting verbally abusive and physical with his children” and there is speculation that this may be the reason Jolie is filing for divorce.
The allegations are being brought against Pitt following a family flight last week. TMZ report that the father-of-six was drinking on the flight and later went “wild, screaming and getting physical with the kids”.
When the plane landed he’s reported to have continued to rant on the tarmac and even tried to drive off in one of the fuel trucks.
It is believed someone on the plane or on the tarmac notified the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services who are now investigating the incident.
TMZ reports that Brad and Angelina have already been interviewed and that the children will be interviewed in due course.

“He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children. It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.”
