A female cyclist is in hospital this morning after she was raped ‘by a number of attackers’ in west Dublin as she travelled home last night.
According to a report in the Irish Independent, the woman was dragged from her bike into an area of parkland in Clondalkin this morning at approximately 3am.

The extent of her injuries is not known,
The scene on the Ninth Lock Road (near the junction with the Neilstown Road) has been sealed off as the Garda Technical Bureau carry out a full investigation.
A Garda spokesman confirmed the alleged sexual assault occurred at around 3.20am. No arrests have been made.
