Hello, Mama Spice!
Geri Halliwell (actually Horner, as she has changed her name of late) just used social media to let the world know there is a baby in her future.
The former Spice Girl – who already has a daughter, 10-year-old Bluebell from a previous relationship – borrowed a line from her single It’s Raining Men to announce her happy news, and captioned her Instagram picture: “God bless Mother Nature #MamaSpice.”
Here is a statement issued by the singer’s team after the news broke:
“Spice Girl Geri Horner (née Halliwell), 44, and husband Christian Horner OBE, 42, are absolutely delighted to announce they are expecting their first child together. The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family.”
Geri married Red Bull Formula 1 Team Principal Christian Horner, who has a three-year-old daughter, Olivia, from a previous relationship, in May last year.
