A toddler who was born to drug-addict parents has undergone a dramatic transformation.
Little Coleman, now 17 months, was malnourished and addicted to opioids – but he was taken in by his cousins who helped him get well and strong.
Before and after photos were shared this week by Blaine Hamilton – Coleman’s cousin – promoting an amazing response on Twitter.
“Born w/ drug addicts as parents, neglected & weighing below birth wt @ 2 months old.. then my family took him n & look @ him now #FinallyOurs,” the Texas-native stated.
Buzzfeed reports that Blaine’s family are currently in the final stages of formally adopting the little one.
“We were overwhelmed about starting over, but we knew it was the right decision,” the Coleman family said.
