Michael Phelps is a dad again!
The most decorated Olympian in history welcomed his fourth child into the world.
Michael and his wife Nicole Johnson announced the arrival of their baby boy Nico Michael Phelps in an adorable Instagram post on Monday.
In the snap, a shirtless Michael stands proudly beside Nicole, as he holds their new addition close to his chest.
The post’s caption read: “@mrs.nicolephelps and I wanna welcome Nico Michael Phelps to the world. Born on 1/16.
“We’re so blessed to be given a 4th child,” the caption continued. “We’re now a family of six!”
We can only imagine how chaotic the Phelps household is with their three other sons, Boomer, aged seven, Beckett, five, and Maverick, four.
The parents of four boys announced on Instagram that their family was growing yet again in an anniversary post shared back in October.
They revealed the big news with photos at an NFL game with Nicole’s baby bump on display on social media and wrote: “For those that are wondering… yes! we’re expecting our 4th Phelps in 2024.”
Michael and Nicole got engaged in 2015 and went on to tie the knot during the following year.
They welcomed their first son, Boomer, into the world in May 2016, before they had their second son, Beckett, in February 2018. Their third son, Maverick, was born in September 2019.
