Peter Andre singing Mysterious Girl in the sea is one of my earliest teenage memories, along with Kylie’s Locomotion and Bon Jovi’s Always.
He faded into obscurity for a little bit and then re-emerged in a whirl of abs and teeth in the celebrity jungle where we fell in love with him all over again, and watched him woo the hardened, Katie Price, who he went on to have two children with. After their marriage broke down, the singer had a baby with his new wife Emily McDonagh; a little girl called Amelia. Through social media, he has always portrayed himself as someone who always puts family first. He described to OK! Magazine how his wife broke the news to him that she was pregnant for a SECOND time;
“She handed me a present. As I unwrapped it, I saw it was a pregnancy test. I was in total shock.”
Now he has revealed his top name choices for the baby which is due to arrive towards the end of November. We were quite surprised with his traditional choices considering he has a daughter named Princess and a son named Junior. Speaking to OK! Magazine, he said he always knew he wanted a good strong name for the baby;
“I’ve been quite open about (wanting a traditional name). For a girl, I’ve always loved Elizabeth, Mary, Rose, and Olivia. For boys, I like Oscar, Arthur, Max and James. They are strong, and James is my middle name.”
His wife Emily believes she will probably have the baby even earlier than anticipated;
“I had to go to the hospital two weeks ago because I’m having contractions already, which makes me think this baby could come early like Amelia. I rang my mum [who is a pediatrician] and said they were happening every two minutes. I thought she would say it was fine but she told me to go to the hospital. They hooked me up to a monitor. The doctors don’t know why I’m having them, but the baby is happy, healthy and moving around.”
