Remember little Hayley Brown who broke hearts all over the world after her dad Andrew posted a photograph of her last remaining eyelash? Well, the seven-year-old has some good news to share…
After spending the last number of months bravely battling her way through radiation and chemotherapy at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne Australia, Hayley’s nasal tumour has significantly decreased.
Hayley’s dad Andrew, who posted the original photograph of Hayley’s last eyelash that was shared all over the world, took to his blog to announce some wonderful news:
The dad-of-four wrote:
“The worst of it is pretty much gone. There is another angle and we were still waiting for the official report. That has now come in. As for the all clear, that isn’t coming for a while. Hayley now begins the 12 months of maintenance. So in summary, we are in a very much improved situation but not out of the sh*t yet.”
Last week Andrew had more good news to share with the world, this time about Hayley’s eyelashes:
“THEY’RE BAAAAAAAACK!!!!!! YAY! Sob, yay, you beauty, sob, sook, sob, hooray!
This is probably going to be the shortest but possibly the most popular blog I have ever written. I couldn’t even wait the full week to post it. Saw these, my wife pinched my camera due to being on a better angle and check this out…..”
