I have just signed off on my wedding invitations.. and it kind of took all year.
First, we needed to decide what the tone was going to be and given that we’re getting married at the zoo (yes, really!) we went for fun and light-hearted.
Then we had a tiny issue of being undecided about our venue up until about two months ago.
At one stage, we had two dates and three venues provisionally held, while we contemplated all the necessary factors (children, elderly relatives etc) and so there was no point sending out invites with the wrong information.
Finally, we took our fingers out of our asses and made and decision so went full-force into getting the invites right.
And it’s a panic because you don’t want to leave in OR omit any important information or – god forbid (says my journalist head) – have a glaringly obvious spelling mistake!
So we, like every other couple planning their wedding, poured over every single letter and detail before ultimately agreeing, ‘Ok, print!’
This couple of Imgur had a bit of on oversight on their invites, but it’s a cute one so it’s not the end of the world.
They meant to separately ask what their guest’s dinner preference was AND if they would be bringing children along but.. well, you’ll see;

Tee hee!
