We parents are all very much in love with our little ones who are running around the house and, ahem, scribbling on the walls.
But sometimes, just sometimes, we yearn for the days B.C. (Before Children), the Yesterday or, as my other half calls them, ‘The Glory Days’.
“Do you remember when we used to have Funky Fridays Musical Drinks Nights?” he’ll ponder as I slip into my fleece onesie at 8.30pm on a – yes, you guessed right – a Friday night.
“Yup”, I’ll muse. “And if you turn that radio on to summon The Glory Days and wake the baby, I will not be responsible for my actions”.

You will so relate to all the lyrics, but if you asked me for my favourite, it would be this;
“My name’s mommy and I need a drink
My name’s mommy and there’s too many dishes in my sink”
