Very sneaky…
A mum in the US has been caught stealing another family’s buggy at Disneyworld and putting her own child it to sneak out of the park.
Michelle Ashley Craig was caught on camera at the Florida theme park taking her young daughter out of her own buggy and putting her in the Bugaboo buggy, which belonged to Lauren Collazo, before walking away with the two buggies.
She later sold the Bugaboo, worth $1,800 or around €1620, to another woman on Facebook, but was caught when the woman who bought it saw the family’s appeals for information and realised she had bought a stolen buggy, reports Metro.
Collazo also lot her purse, car keys and an Epipen, which were all in the buggy when it was taken.
“It was the fact that she took it away from me the day that I needed it the most and ruined everybody’s day at Disney,” she said.
“I was there with no money, stranded. My husband had to fly over from Miami that same day, catch the first flight available to rescue me and my family.”
Craig handed herself in for the crime and was arrested, while the stolen buggy was returned to Collazo.
