Mum to Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, Maria likes to share snippets of her life with her one million followers on the social platform.
She took to Instagram yesterday to share an adorable snap of her youngest grandchildren, Cristiano’s three month old baby twins.
The doting granny captioned the photograph “Mostra aí filho quem é a avó mais babada do mundo”, which literally translates as “ Show the son who is the most frilly grandmother in the world.”
We have it on good authority, however, that the idiom means Maria is smitten with the babies.

The twins were born via a surrogate in June of this year and are Cristiano’s second and third children – he’s also father to 7-year-old son Cristiano Jr, who too was reportedly born via a surrogate.
Cristiano will soon become a dad for the fourth time as his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez confirmed her pregnancy in a photoshoot last month.
