We know, from the good old (really old) days and our kids, that school can be tough.
As well as homework, there’s also the pressure of fitting in – in fact, it’s a bit like when you start a new job as an adult.
But the thing that usually gets you through is having someone there who is willing to listen and support you.
Eight-year-old Aaliyah from Blackrock, Co Dublin, is that person for her classmate Jack and she made sure to tell him that in a note.
It reads:
To Jack,
Don’t worry about the boys in the class bullying you. I will always be there for you. I will always be your friend and I will always pick up for you.
