Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi is hitting back at online shamers who trolled her on social media.
The mum-of-two landed herself in trouble with some fans yesterday when she shared a picture that showed her putting makup on her two-year-old daughter, Giovanna.
“Getting sissy ready for her dance recital,” read the caption. “This is the best Mother’s Day gift to me!”
While many fans shared their own similar experiences in the comment section, some criticised the former Jersey Shore star for putting makeup on such a young child.
“She’s a little young… I just don’t understand the need.”
The negative comments were quickly drowned out by messages of support but it seems Nicole wasn’t over it.
A few hours later, the mum posted another picture with her daughter after her dance recital, saying:
“So proud of my little girl. Instead of not posting my kids for the people who respect and appreciate their photos, I will turn off the comments section. I don’t need a******s telling me how to raise my child and judge them. I’m a damn good mom and know what I’m doing. Well, most of the time.”
And as mums in the US celebrate Mother’s Day today, Nicole had something to say to her fellow hard-working mums:
“Happy Mother’s Day to all you kick a** Mamas out there!”
