We Asked ‘When Should You Stop Being Nude Around The Kids?’ – And Your Replies Were Hilarious

Sharyn Hayden

We often have serious and heated debates across our social media platforms on various topics – and rightly so, because we are all very passionate when it comes to our kids.

Last week though, we had a great time reading your responses to our article Being nude around the kids: when should we stop doing it?

Your replies were so much fun that we were in stitches reading them at HerFamily HQ, and just had to put some of our favourites together for the website.

So here you go and thanks SO MUCH for the giggles ;o)

My son asked me the other day where my wig had gone ( I just had a wax) he’s 3 and a half….our time has come to an end. – Lindsay Louise Harbourne (thanks Lindsay, this was our fave!)

Hilarious! My little boy was looking at mine strangely the other night and then went to get his hairbrush. Time for a wax I think!! – Julie O’Driscoll

Well i stopped being semi-naked when my son patted me on my ‘saggy’ belly and said ‘is that where you keep all your food?’ – Pauline Booth

I can’t even pee and they’re in the toilet with me so I have to put up with getting dressed and showering with them stuck on my hip. I’ve two girls 13 an 10 months and three-year-old boy… I can’t wait for the day to come when I can have a bath in peace! – Amy Wynne

Never stop, teach them to be proud of their bodies and feel comfortable in themselves. Or as somebody else said until they beg you not to! – Martina Reid

Had showers with my oldest til he was 4 and that was only cause I had another one and couldn’t fit the three of us in the cubicle! – Sharon Clinch

For me with my first it was only when she got too big to sit on my knees and use my legs as a slide – Jenny Hanlon

Being nude around the kids will probably end when they stop visiting me when I’m in the shower!! Why do they always find the need to ask me random questions when I’m in the shower?! – Joanne Taaffe Hartnett

You lot are brilliant! Thanks for making our week!
