Will you be on your mobile phone on Christmas Day? Or are you the one who tells others off for being glued to their screen when they should be spending time with family?
Well it seems that, as a nation, we are a little tech-obsessed with over 90 per cent of people saying that they will have their phones on them at all times during the festive season.
The survey, conducted by retailer Iceland, also found that one of the main activities is taking photographs of food.
Over half of those asked said they will be sharing food snaps with friends via social media with a third admitting that they rearrange their plates to make it look better. (Not sure we’d have the patience for that, we’d be too busy eating!)
And chances are that Christmas dinner will be making an appearance on timelines as 60 per cent of people said their favourite part of the meal is turkey and trimmings with the dinner table is one of the key subjects to capture.
While we’re not surprised by the findings, we certainly won’t be partaking simply because we like eating the food. We also like that Iceland is urging people to take time with their nearest and dearest rather than taking photos.
