A number of women have revealed the well-meaning but hurtful things people said to them after they suffered miscarriages.
The clip is part of the #misCOURAGE campaign launched by charity Tommy’s which aims to raise public awareness of the issue of miscarriage.

Such phrases include “it happened for a reason”, “at least it happened early” and “at least it wasn’t a real baby yet.”
As part of the campaign, a woman called Rosie also bravely spoke out about her experience of miscarriage.
